7th Cavalry, (80th Regiment), First State Standard. The 7th cavalry was organize in the Fall of 1861, and was composed of men from Schuylkill, Lycoming, Tioga, Bradford, Montour, Centre, Clinton, Philadelphia, Chester, Allegheny, Dauphin, Cumberland, Fayette, Berks, and Northumberland counties. On December 18, 1861 the regiment received its first state standard along with ten company guidons from Governor Curtin. It is unknown when the first state standard was retired or when the replacement flag was received. The 7th cavalry was mustered out of service on August 13, 1865.

The 7th cavalry was organized in the fall of 1861, and was composed of men from Schuylkill, Lycoming, Tioga, Bradford, Montour, Centre, Clinton, Philadelphia, Chester, Allegheny, Dauphin, Cumberland, Fayette, Berks, and Northumberland counties. On December 18, 1861 the regiment received its first state standard along with ten company guidons from Governor Curtin. It is unknown when the first state standard was retired or when the replacement flag was received, however it was definitely sometime after mid-May 1864. The 7th cavalry was mustered out of service on August 13, 1865.

The 7th cavalry was organized in the fall of 1861, and was composed of men from Schuylkill, Lycoming, Tioga, Bradford, Montour, Centre, Clinton, Philadelphia, Chester, Allegheny, Dauphin, Cumberland, Fayette, Berks, and Northumberland counties. On December 18, 1861 the regiment received its first state standard along with ten company guidons from Governor Curtin. The national standard was carried sometime prior to February 1865. Nothing more is known about the flag. The 7th cavalry was mustered out of service on August 13, 1865.

The 7th cavalry was organized in the fall of 1861, and was composed of men from Schuylkill, Lycoming, Tioga, Bradford, Montour, Centre, Clinton, Philadelphia, Chester, Allegheny, Dauphin, Cumberland, Fayette, Berks, and Northumberland counties. On December 18, 1861 the regiment received its first state standard along with ten company guidons from Governor Curtin. On March 1, 1864 the ladies of Pottsville and St. Clair presented a standard and twelve company guidons to the 7th cavalry, received by Colonel Sipes. They were carried until the 7th cavalry was mustered out of service on August 13, 1865.
